EA Sports College Football 25 will undoubtedly be an authentic virtual recreation of the game day experience that takes place in real life, and EA Sports is making sure to reflect all of it very accurately on the field.
The developers have revealed finer details about how they will create an exciting matchday experience and what players can expect when they take the field with their favorite teams. From dynamic environments to mascots, there’s plenty of stuff waiting for the fans.
EA Sports College Football 25 is incorporating traditions
Just like in real life, the stadiums within the game will have major differences in crowd atmosphere. In today’s Sights and Sounds Deep Dive, EA Sports revealed that “every team is someone’s favorite.”
Naturally, the developers will be recreating the unique characteristics of every team within the game – from real-life mascots to game-day rituals. Depending on your school of choice, teams will slam the sign or engage in other infamous pre-game rituals before hitting the field.
Touchdown celebrations will also vary. And of course, there will be cheerleaders, mascots, and animals charging down the field to kick off a match. Now whether this will be applicable for all the colleges remains to be seen once the game goes live later in July 2024.
EA is using data and resources from sporting giants to understand what it feels like during some of the biggest matches of the season. You can expect to find the same intensity and authenticity of a college football crowd while playing the game.
Crowds will also have unique fan sections with dynamic wardrobes and custom chants. Certain matches will also have colorful seat themes, and the wardrobes will change based on the weather. While things really look very promising, the true experience can only be enjoyed starting July 19, when EA Sports College Football 25 releases globally.
