Well, we can confirm Command & Conquer 4 is being developed by Electronic Arts Los Angeles. But, we’re probably not doing it the way EA PR intended us to.
Earlier today the person behind EA UK’s PR Twitter account blasted a tweet across the Internet announcing the game’s existence. A dead link for the official press release accompanied the text, so we haven’t the slightest idea what platform C&C4 is hitting nor have a release date. However, we do have an idea about the game’s structure: according to a survey that made the rounds earlier this month, the game will have experience point play progression, “bigger and badder” units, and five versus five “objective-based” games.
It’s OK, EA_UK_PR. I’ve messed up on Twitter before, too. In early June, I got a haircut to impress the ladies at E3 and surprise all my fellow Destructoid staffers with a beautiful neck-length mane. Unfortunately, the lady cut my hair too short, and well, I kind of freaked out … on Twitter. Basically, I’m saying that this happens. Don’t take it too hard. At least you didn’t call any hairdressers naughty names or spend several minutes blushing and deleting tweets.
