According to the ESRB, there’s a new PixelJunk game on the horizon, and it may be one we’re already kind of familiar with.
A listing for PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap for the PlayStation 3 has appeared on the ratings board’s Web site. There’s no description provided, so there’s very little info known about this unannounced title right now. PixelJunk Racers was the first game in the PixelJunk series, released in 2007 for the PlayStation Network.
While it was the most “poorly” received of the titles — with the follow ups, Monsters, Eden, and Shooter all receiving across-the-board acclaim — it’ll be interesting to see what’s new that 2nd Lap has to offer. We’ve put a word out to both Sony and PixelJunk developer Q-Games to see what’s up, and we’ll let you know when we have more details.
