If you must get on the hype train
We’re exactly ONE WEEK away from Fallout 4‘s debut (can’t believe I was just able to type that), and between the leaked content, screenshots from PS4 versions, and an overabundance of marketing stuff, the train appears to have arrived.
If you want tickets to one of the biggest gaming shows this fall, we’ve prodded the robot and it has delivered a breakdown of all noteworthy Fallout 4 pre-order deals, ranging from cheapest Steam copies to physical copies on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. If pre-ordering isn’t your thing, hitting the back button may be prudent — this post is pre-order deals all the way down…

What About Australians?
You poor sots should just buy the physical copy from JB Hi-Fi for $59, which has been all over the news down under as the cheapest price on Fallout 4. If you need instant gratification (e.g. pre-loading the Steam copy), Funstock Digital’s deal does not appear to be regionally priced in AUD. So at £29.24 GBP, you’re looking at about $62 AUD — not a bad deal at all. Make sure you use the coupon.
Europeans should probably also grab Fallout 4 from FunStock, which seems to be beating out Green Man Gaming in all regional pricing. The site gets a bit slow at times, though, so patience may be required during checkout.

Getting Fallout 4 On Time Next Week
Don’t want to deal with visiting a video game store run by a 12-year old shopkeeper/dungeon explorer? Amazon and Microsoft has you covered. If you order from Amazon you can choose Two-Day shipping during checkout (if available) and you’ll receive the game from Amazon on release date. Without Prime, the charge is a pricey ~$11.
On the other hand, Microsoft Store is offering a decent shipping offer for all Xbox One copies – provided you live in the 48 states and not in the boonies. You’ll get free guaranteed release-day delivery as long as you purchase before this Friday, November 6 at 10AM Pacific. (The $10 Xbox gift code bonus will be emailed to you after purchase.)
Fallout 4 Pre-Order Bonuses
While not exactly a pre-order bonus, the Best Buy Fallout 4 socks have been talked about enough already. If you think the socks are silly, Best Buy’s marketing still won because we’re still talking about them.
Pre-order bonuses are pretty lightweight for the game, with the Vault-Tec poster going as standard fare from most big-box retailers. It’s a nice bonus if you’re the type who enjoys putting game posters up on your wall vs. safely folding it away in a box.
Xbox One gamers get an extra treat (thanks Microsoft), as all pre-order copies of Fallout 4 for Xbox One will include a digital copy of Fallout 3 — a nice addition for the newcomers to the series considering Fallout 3 came out seven years ago!
