Five features players want to see added to Palworld

They’ve left us wanting more, that’s for sure

Player character in Palworld

Palworld has been out for almost two months now, and with that comes a certain amount of wishful thinking from players. On the official Palworld Discord server and the Subreddit, players have been vocalizing their desires for the future of the game. Here are some of the most popular requests.

It goes without saying that no game will ever be able to fulfill every player’s desires. What makes one person happy is likely to infuriate someone else, but that’s the nature of the game. However, when a whole group of players are asking for one thing, it’s a pretty sure bet that it would make a good addition to the game.

Five things that players want in Palworld

1 – Capturing Tower Bosses

Since patch 0.1.5.1, players have lost the ability to capture Tower Bosses. This fan-favorite ability was only in the game due to a bug in the first place and was fixed during this patch, albeit accidentally. Players are now begging for this unintended feature to be brought back, with many hoping that the method for capturing them is fine-tuned to be a little more challenging.

2 – Romancing NPCs

While I disagree with this on a fundamental level, many players seem to want to romance the NPCs of the game in order to “make them more memorable.” It’s understandable, I suppose, given the sheer number of games (Palia, Stardew Valley, Buldurs Gate 3 – the list goes on) that allow you to do this, but I personally don’t think Palworld is in need of this feature.

3 – Retaining Spheres that miss their mark

Okay, this one I agree with. It’s understandable that we can’t simply keep all of our Spheres. Sometimes they break or are lost over the edge of a ridiculously high cliff. But that doesn’t account for the ones that seem to bounce off and land on the floor. These Spheres could easily be picked up, realistically speaking, and used again. Palworld is resource-heavy enough without the constant need to make more Spheres.

4 – Favorite Pals

Again, I can’t help but agree with this. I’m sure you’ve been there too; selling your Pals to the Pal Merchant or condensing them and oops! There goes your high specs Pal, off into the world and never to be retrieved. Allowing players to lock Pals into the Palbox would prevent this from happening, something which would make a lot of people happy.

5 – More content

It goes without saying that with Palworld’s ridiculously successful launch and subsequent success, players are itching for more content, and it’s been promised with the mini Roadmap that was released in January. Raids, PVP, more Pals, islands and bosses, it’s all been promised, but players are left guessing as to when this content will arrive.
