Watch it in action
What to do when your supplier of JRPGs won’t give you the one you want. You could bitch on forums, or maybe start a petition. Or just do the dirty work yourself. That’s what is happening with PSP game Final Fantasy Type-0, a good game that just kind of fell off in the background with no word of localization from Square Enix.
A NeoGAF thread that started out wondering where the hell the game is has morphed into a place to track the fan translation, and that’s where this video first popped up. In it you’ll see Type-0’s fan translation in action.
The translators have managed to edit the original subtitles and animated to keep the timing accurate. This also keeps things looking official. It seems that they’re only showing translated cutscenes now. Let’s hope they can get this going before Square Enix shuts it down.
