If you’re considering diving back into Final Fantasy XIV but waiting for Dawntrail to resub, then this might be the perfect excuse to get some extra game time in — the Free Login Campaign is back, giving players with lapsed subs up to four days of playtime for free.
Unlike its partner campaign, the Free to Play Campaign, this one is designed to entice players back into Eorzea if they haven’t paid their sub in a while or are unsure whether they’re ready to commit again. The campaign gives players 96 hours of playtime, as long as they’ve met the eligibility requirements:
- Must have purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV
- All characters associated with the account must have been inactive for at least 30 days
If you meet these criteria, then you’re in luck. Between May 23 and June 20, all you need to do to take part in the Free Login Campaign is log in, and your playtime will begin. It’s worth noting that the 96 hours begin immediately after you login and the countdown continues even if you log off, so it’s worth timing that first login to make the most of the 96 hours.
Need some suggestions for how to use your time wisely? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered:
Within the time frame of the campaign, there are multiple events taking place in Eorzea:
- Make it Rain Campaign is running until May 31
- Yo-kai Watch collaboration event will be active for the entire period of the campaign
- Dragon Quest collaboration event will be running between June 5 and June 20
- Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Genesis II will be active for the entire period of the campaign
- Fall Guys collaboration event returned on May 23 and will run until June 10
There’s no shortage of things to sink your teeth into if you decide to log in to Final Fantasy XIV again during the Free Login Campaign, and you might even get hooked again. If you want to keep playing after the campaign ends on June 20, you will need to resub, which you can do via the MogStation.
