Months after its original release, Update 2 has officially hit Five Nights TD (FNTD). The hefty update adds a ton of new content including new systems, towers, units, and the frequently requested AFK Zone. Let’s go over everything added in Five Nights TD Update 2 and detail all thew new content.
What’s new in Five Nights TD Update 2?
Even though the creators of Five Nights TD haven’t released actual patch notes for Update 2, we can still look at everything new added in the recently released update. The update has been a long time in the making, having f finally released on June 22, 2024. With the update coming so long after the original release of FNTD, a ton of bug fixes and balance changes are present in the update. Aside from those fixes and changes, here is all the actual new content added with Update 2:
- New Clans System – Players can now team up together by joining Clans and work together to progress the Clan via acquiring Clan Points.
- A present system for clans – Clans can receive rewards in the form of presents based on the Clan Points they accrue.
- The AFK Zone – New option for going into the AFK Zone when stepping away from the game to gather rewards at a slower rate.
- 3 New Units – Three brand new units that can be acquired via summoning.
- New Rarity for Unit Summons – All new Secret rarity for units that joins Common, Rare, Epic, and Mythic.
- Splash Damage increased – All units with Splash Damage have seen the damage amount increased with this patch to make it more viable.
Also, even though it didn’t make it in the actual update, the creators teased some new maps that take place outside that will be temporarily added next week as part of a time-limited Summer Event.
