Digging the grave, I got it made
Berzerk Studio has announced a collaboration with Yacht Club Games which will see four tunes from the amazing Shovel Knight soundtrack make their debut in frenzied rhythm game Just Shapes & Beats.
The four tunes, exclusively remixed for JS&B, represent four of Shovel Knight’s famous characters: Plague Knight, Specter Knight, King Knight and the spade-swinging hero himself, Shovel Knight. Each track can be played unlocked via the Playlist. In a neat touch, Nintendo Switch owners can also access the new tracks via each character’s respective amiibo.
The four tracks in the Shovel Knight update are as follows:
- Danimal Cannon – Strike the Earth! (remix)
- Rainbowdragoneyes – Flowers of Antimony (remix)
- Kubbi – In the Halls of the Usurper (remix)
- Shirobon – La Danse Macabre (remix)
The Shovel Knight update will arrive for all players free of charge on December 4. Just Shapes & Beats is a great, somewhat unsung member of the modern rhythm game genre, and hopefully this cool crossover will bring new fans into the fold, hypnotised by its wild visuals and addictive, challenging gameplay.
