Friday Night Fights – Don’t Call Me Shirley

Game with the Dtoid Community!

Recommended Videos

Welcome back to another FNF! As you may have seen, we brought EU FNF back this week (Huge thanks to Panzadolphin). I’m very excited to get more community stuff going and to include everyone as much as possible. I’m sorry if I’m bothering any of you with the PMs and all that, but I do it out of love and a desire to see us all connected. Like the human centipede, but sexier. With some Bill Paxton thrown in. Mainly because I want him to eat my poop. That’s hawt. Is this getting weird?  I tend to make things weird sometimes. I’ll just start rambling and it’ll make no sense. Then I get an awkward boner and everyone starts calling me a monster because I’m in a Build-A-Bear workshop. Nude. Hypocrites.

Moving on from my current legal drama, how awesome was that letter from Papa Niero? I absolutely love seeing that level of interaction from both staff and users here. It’s why I planted my meat flag in the ground and call this place home. I personally love the direction Dtoid is moving in. Seeing staff interact more, having the fun being injected into things again. Silliness. More community involvement. Those are the things that brought and kept me here. I look forward to seeing this place grow, as well as doing my part to keep you folks playing together.

Speaking of playing together, I’ll have a blog post going up in this next week detailing the first two game tournaments I’m organizing. Mortal Kombat 9 and COD: AW are the two titles I picked out and I’m really excited to see how this goes over. If you have any other suggestions, please leave them in the comments below, so I can gauge interest. In other playing together news, EU FNF isn’t the only thing getting revived this week. StriderHoang is lending a hand to SmurfeeMcGee so we can get Nintendo FNF going again. Exciting times I’d say, in regards to gaming with you all. With all that said, let’s get to some gaming.

New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!

The planning for FNF starts in the forums, where community members sign up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Then, every Friday, reminder posts go up in the community blogs thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers, and I recap it all here on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.

To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you’d rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!

Tonight’s Streamers: Add yourself in the comments if you are streaming! All games marked with * below, will be streamed. Click on the game title to be taken to the respective channel.

Here’s the up-to-date Streamtoid schedule. Wanna join in the fun? Send us an email!
