Game with the Anniversatoid Community!
Ten years of you assholes. Well, eight for me, but it feels like ten though. Dear lord, we are all old now. Thank God my dick still looks 25 though. No clue how he does it. Must be all the moisturizer. Anyway, Dtoid… ten years… man. It’s beautiful. I love this site so damn much. We’ve had our ups and downs, but what relationship doesn’t? The key is, there are way more ups than downs here. For me it starts with the community (that’s you fucks), but where else are you going to read stuff like this? Or great interviews with the boss man himself (part one and two)? Shit, we got Ben crushing it on Experience Points. We have the progenitor of Skynet himself: Chris Carter, busting out reviews like no ones business. Hell, did you guys know Steven is our features editor now! Give him a round of applause! Those are just three of the amazing folks here! We still have Darren, Stephen, Laura, Kyle, Patrick, CJ, Jordan, Jed, and a ton of other crazy talented folks here. All of them busting their asses to entertain us.
That is a bunch of crazy talented people, but then there’s our community. You guys are fucking amazing (except for you, you fuck). You all are what hold this place together. Helping with that, of course is our community team. Huge shout out to Pixie, Occams, Strider, Beccy and Konor… Connoer? Err Bloodspray. Let’s not forget those that came before either, such as M. Randy Dixon and the chillest of Bill (wouldn’t be here without you guys <3). So yeah, my point to all this rambling, is that I love you all. Very much. Now let’s STFUAPG.
New to FNF? Read this! Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It’s a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!
The planning for FNF used to start in the forums, where community members signed up to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Now, every Monday, posts go up in the community blogs where you sign up and it’s all kept up thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers. I then recap it all here on Friday, on the front page to give it a bit more exposure.
To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! If you’d rather host something yourself, sound off in the comments section below!
