Now that the Presidential election is over, we can move on to the debate that really matters! Last week we had a ruthless matchup that readers often compared to picking which of their children they loved more. While there were dozens of votes for both sides, as well a vicious bonus question battle, in the end the winner was clear. Here are the results:
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (101 votes) — Winner!
- Super Mario 64 (34 votes) — “Oh no!”
- Zelda series (27 votes) — Winner!
- Mario series (26 votes) — “Mamma Mia!”
This week we enter the Nintendo 64 odd debate finals bracket, with Ocarina of Time fighting the FPS winner from the first round for the championship. With a single player adventure game versus a multiplayer shooting game, this couldn’t be more of an odd debate final for us to decide on. Will nostalgia weigh in more? Or will you make your pick based on how these two games have stood the test of time?
Which game do you think is better, and why? Give it some serious thought, get some N64 childhood friends to share their opinions as well, and check back next week for the winner. Then we move on to the first PS2 round of these odd debates.
P.S. There’s still a few Mind Teasers that are unsolved!
