Game Informer is big pimpin’ these days. I remember when they weren’t sh*t. A lot has changed since those days, hasn’t it? Now they’re they fifth largest magazine in the United States, according to the Audit Bureau of Circulations. And the #1 game mag, of course. They’ve managed to increase their circulation 33 percent in 2010, ranking them higher than Time and Sports Illustrated.
GI’s doing something right. Circulation fell 1.2 percent in 2010 and newsstand sales fell 7.3 percent in the last half of the year, but they’re still climbing. Could it be that all that rabble you hear at the register at Gamestop is getting through to some people?
