In last week‘s debate we dived into the Lunar RPG series, and no matter how you combine or separate the remakes, there was still one distinct winner. For the sake of saving space, I’ve combined originals and remakes in the list below. Here are the results:
- Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (18 votes) — Winner!
- Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete (3 votes)
- Lunar: Silver Star Harmony (2 votes)
- Lunar Legend (1 vote)
It’s good to see one game in the series has a strong following, but it’s a little worrying to see a “classic” RPG series not have much support these days. It will be interesting to see how it performs in the RPG tournament against other classics that have overwhelming amounts of fans.
With this week’s debate, please understand that duplicate Pokémon games — and remakes — will count as one game. Not only will Pokémon Red and Pokémon Blue count as the same game, but Pokémon Fire Red will also count as the same vote as Pokémon Red. Furthermore, Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal will all count as the same vote as well. And so on, and so on. The goal is to find one Pokémon game that stands above the rest, and will go on to represent its entire lengthy series in the upcoming RPG tournament.
Out of the entire Pokémon series, which game is the best, and why? What sets it apart from every other game in its series? Sell me on the idea! Get me stoked to see it compete in the tournament! Give it some serious thought, share your reasoning with all of us, and then check back next week to see how your game did!
Bonus Question: What Pokémon creature and/or evolution is your favorite?
