At the Sony gamescom press conference today, Insomniac Games pulled the covers of its next title — Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.
The first title in development at Insomniac’s “new-ish” North Carolina studio, the game will feature four-player online, along with same screen drop-in and drop-out cooperative play. Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One is slated for a Fall 2011 release. Confirmed to be playable are Ratchet and Clank (as expected), along with series stalwarts Captain Quark and Dr. Nefarious.
The demonstration showed off the trappings typical to Ratchet & Clank, including picking up bolts, turning screws, and more. Players will have to work together, using cooperative weapons like a cannon with four barrels. Expect Insomniac to drop more details on the game at its panel this September at PAX in Seattle.
