A new expansion is coming to Fable II soon — as in “weeks,” soon. Peter Molyneux recently sat down with Kotaku during GDC and spilled some tiny beans on the previously hinted, aptly named downloadable content, ‘See the Future.’
“The next DLC comes out in the spring,” Molyneux said. “We’re in the spring now so don’t think months, think more like weeks. It’s called See the Future.”
“This time we’ve taken a little bit more time on it, it’s a little bit more story driven. It answers some of the questions, if you’re a real fan of Fable, it answers some of those questions,” Moylneux added after he said that the ‘Knothole Island’ DLC was rushed. “It’s going to test you a little bit emotionally as well. But I think the real unique thing here is it starts to tease and hint at what it starting to happen in the world of Albion and what is happening in the future.”
Downloadable content that that has meaning is always a must purchase in my book. Hopefully, in addition to the teasing of bigger things to come, we’ll get access to a potion that makes characters larger. There’s absolutely no reason why our heroes can’t be bigger than houses. No reason at all.
