It feels like a map pack just came out for Gears of War 3 a few weeks ago, but in all actuality it’s been a little over two months since “Fenix Rising” was released. Gears fans can rest easy as they finally have new content to check out in the “Forces of Nature” pack, which includes three brand new maps and two re-hashes of fan-favorite maps “Jacinto” and “Raven Down.” The three new maps (“Artillery,” “Aftermath,” and “Cove”) all have a theme centered around a specific natural disaster. I’ll be honest, that sort of makes me want to play Gears 3 again.
Also waiting for you will be four new playable characters and an added 250 Achievement Points. Now, if you happened to purchase the Season Pass, it probably wouldn’t be a good idea to pay for this pack, as you’re still covered under the pass. For everyone else, you’re going to have to cough up 800 Microsoft Points. That’s it for Gears of War 3‘s DLC content season. Did you feel you got enough, or are you still clamoring for more?
