Feline Fortress Furdyssey is one of the last events in Genshin Impact Version 4.5, and, in my opinion, one of the best. If you’re short on time though, here are all the solutions to the puzzles in Feline Fortress Furdyssey.
To begin the event, teleport to the city of Mondstadt and start the event quest in front of the Cat’s Tail bar. It’s a fairly short introductory quest that involves a few discussions with NPCs before you get into the actual event activities.

How to pet cats in Feline Fortress Furdyssey
When a cat jumps up to be petted, you can tap or click to touch it in one of several regions:
- Right ear
- Left ear
- Head
- Chest
- Right foot
- Left foot
- Side/back
- Tail
Touching a cat in any of the regions will either earn you points or deduct points from your score. There’s no way to outwardly tell where a cat likes to be petted, but you can use trial and error to deduce where you can touch it.
Some cats in Feline Fortress Furdyssey do like to be petted on the tail or feet, so these cats’ preferences don’t always line up with those of real cats. A cat’s preferred petting spots can change over time, too.
A successful pet awards anywhere from 10 to 40 points. Touching the same spot again will elicit a positive response, but earns you a decreasing number of points. The point value decreases by 10 with each subsequent pet in the same spot, so if you got 20 points for it the first time, subsequent pets will earn you first 10, then 0 points.
Touching a cat in a spot it doesn’t like usually has no penalty, but you might sometimes lose points. Just pet it in a different area next time. You only need to reach the “Cherished” level to claim event rewards.
