A spicy ingredient in a calm village
Genshin Impact is home to many ingredients, including the Jueyun Chili. From mushrooms to meat, there’s a lot to find in Teyvat. However, you’ll only find the Jueyun Chili in abundance at one location.
After finding the Jueyun Chili, you’ll be able to make new dishes and even ascend Xiangling’s level, resulting in stronger strikes from the fiery girl. Here’s where to find Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact.
Where to spot Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact
To get Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact, the best place to go is Quince Village. It’s located northwest of the Dihua Marsh and west of the Dawn Winery. It’s also to the left of Wuwang Hill. Something else to know is that it’s in the northwestern region of Bishui Plain if you zoom out on the map.
The Jueyun Chili is laid around the fields of the Quince Village region. The best strategy, once you arrive in this quaint area, is to follow the main path and go down the steps. Start at the top, where Granny Ruoxin resides. Then, follow the way down the stone steps. On the left and the right in the grass, you’ll see plants that glow in red. They actually look like flowers rather than actual chilis you get from our world as shown above.
Another location to find Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact is by the rivers near Mt. Aocang. Follow down the path near the river and you should find some Jueyun Chilis in this area too.
If you have the Mora to buy the ingredient, you can also get it in a limited quantity from the Wanmin Restaurant in Liyue Harbor for 1,000 Mora. The stock will thankfully refresh once a day.
How to ascend Xiangling
You will need Jueyun Chili in Genshin Impact to ascend Xiangling and Yaoyao. For example, you’ll need 10 Jueyun Chilis, three Agnidus Agate Fragments, two Everflame Seeds, and 15 Slime Consumates to get from Level 40 to Level 50. The Jueyun Chili can also be used in recipes like Jade Parcels and Minty Meat Rolls.
