Get your table-flipping on with Tabletop Simulator on Steam Early Access

When a table comes along, you must flip it

We’ve all been so mad we could flip a table, and for the longest time we’ve had to use outdated AOL RP-speak and emoticons to convey said anger electronically. Well, those days are over with the advent of Tabletop Simulator, released today via Steam Early Access. It’s also 20 percent off, making a single copy $11.99 and a four-pack for $35.99 just in case you wanna share maximum table flippage with friends.

Tabletop Simulator comes packing 15 game modes to choose from, as well as the option to import images to create custom decks and boards. Steam Workshop support will be coming as well, allowing you to use mods with full 3D model support. Play with up to eight people at once on the same table and add voice chat in for some legit online board game fun, especially if you want to run a weird little custom RPG where you play by scattering pieces all over the floor. Sounds new and innovative.

I’m just really into the fact that you can pick up, throw, shake, and slam anything in the game. It’s about time I get to manhandle my digital property. The somewhat Doom-like figures in the trailer pique my interest, too. One looks like a Cacodemon, also known as the cutest demon to have ever been conceived.

I really wanna check this thing out, but I just need to get mad enough to flip a table, or a chess board, or those figures pictured above over. I know what’ll make me mad! If all the comments in this news article feature Josh Homme, I’ll become irrationally angry. Please make me angry enough to purchase on Steam or via the Berserk Games official site for a DRM-free copy. Brittany smash.
