THQ has released the above video for Saints Row: The Third which takes you through the game’s second mission, “Freefalling.” The Saints have been taken captive by The Syndicate aboard a luxury jet following the heroes’ recent bank heist and the conversation is less than friendly. Once the bullets start flying, the player has to make their way through to the back of the plane and jump out with a chute. Then there’s a bit of backtracking which, while normally loathsome, is handled with impressive style. You’ll see what I mean.
The video shows perfectly why I’m so excited to play this. If there’s one thing that Saints Row does very well, it’s that it puts the player in a scenario that’s completely nuts. And then, just when I think it could not become any crazier, Volition still manages to shock me. Gimme.
