Linux version happening, but no OUYA support
I was happy to see GODUS do well on Kickstarter if for no other reason than it will be interesting to watch unfold, and really, it seems like Peter Molyneux needed this for his own well-being. Since we last checked in, the campaign has successfully come to a close.
Interestingly, the final stretch goal, concerning Linux and OUYA versions of the game, was split into two separate goals. At £526,563 raised, GODUS will now have sects, a story written by James Leach (Black & White, Dungeon Keeper, and Fable), cooperative multiplayer, and a Linux version. The revamped stretch goal for OUYA was £550k, so that didn’t make the cut. Something tells me they’ll be plenty busy as is.
