…And to all a good fight
A new range of costumes are coming next week for roster members of scrapper Street Fighter V. These include some more retro outfits and a new batch of Holiday gear. ‘Tis the season for giving (your money to Capcom).
Ice-princess Kolin is looking particularly classy in her Winter warmers. Menat and Cammy both dazzle in their fun, cat-themed costumes, and you better watch out if Santa Alex is coming to town, because he looks pissed.
Classic (or “Nostalgia”) outfits are on the way for veterans Karin, Balrog and Birdie. Of course, Chun-Li will be getting three new skins. These include her classic Street Fighter Alpha look, another Police-themed ensemble, and a number that sees her wearing kick-pads like a jobbing indy-wrestler. The latter two outfits were designed by artist Akiman.
The new costumes will cost about four dollars each. 2016’s Holiday costumes, as well as the “Frosty Boulevard” stage, are being bundled together in a Christmas Pack for ten bucks. Even though that’s half price, it’s still too much for year-old content that’s relevant for a couple of weeks at best. Yep, I’m full of Christmas cheer.
The new outfits will be available for purchase in Street Fighter V from November 29.
