[Update] Okay, so any browser can play this apparently. Go figure.
Google’s I/O Conference is taking place right now in San Francisco and one of the announcements gamers will care about is that Angry Birds is playable for free right now on your Google Chrome browser! Google used this chance to brag about how Chrome wouldn’t have been able to run Angry Birds a year ago. Today though, the browser is ten times faster and Chrome can handle Angry Birds pretty well.
Only Poached Eggs, the first world, and a special Chrome themed world are available right now with more on the way. The game can even be played offline through the browser’s cache. Cool.
