I haven’t been excited for any of the recent Rock Band DLC, but today’s announcement pretty much turns that around 180 degrees. August 11th, a Gorillaz three pack will come to Rock Band featuring “Clint Eastwood”, “Feel Good Inc” and “Re-Hash” (it also comes to PSN on August 13th). Also available that day will be Janis Joplin’s “Another Piece of my Heart”, Jefferson Airplane’s “White Rabbit”, The Who’s “Magic Bus (Live at Leeds )” and The Band’s “Chest Fever (live)”. Good stuff!
You can nab these as a part of “Gorillaz Pack 01” for 440 Microsoft points or just get the individual songs for 160 points. The Wii will also get a healthy list of back-catalog additions as well, with songs from Blink 182, KISS, Lenny Kravitz and more (hit the jump for the full listing). Those will be 200 Wii points per track, so let’s hope you’ve been saving your points — there’s a lot to choose from.
Last but not least, two new Iron Maiden songs are coming to Rock Band Unplugged for the PSP: “The Number of the Beast” and “The Trooper”. These will be available August 13th and will cost $1.99 per track. I don’t know about you, but I’m all about the Gorillaz and Janis Joplin additions. What are you going to pick up out of these new offerings?
