IGN UK is reporting that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be making its way to Xbox Orignals later this month. The download will run you 1200 Microsoft Points, or $14.99 is human-being-bucks.
San Andreas is the largest GTA title to date, and arguably one of the best. Dollar for dollar, there’s certainly more to see and do in San Andreas than just about any other videogame. Period.
Is it worth $14.99? Definitely. The game is backwards compatible, and while you may be able to find it cheaper online, GameStop is selling it for $17.99 used. But when you consider the scope of the game — and how many current-gen titles are dropping this month (Fable 2, Fallout 3, to name two games that start with the letter “F”) — maybe now isn’t the best time to re-release this game.
But let’s speculate: Does this release hint at soon-to-come Grand Theft Auto IV DLC?
