GRIN to give Wanted the videogame treatment

Recommended Videos

Wanted was a fun summer action flick, but how will it fair as a videogame? Movie-based games have always had a horrendous track record, but there’s a chance this one might turn out to be somewhat decent.

The Wanted game is being developed by GRIN, the company responsible for the Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter series and the unreleased Bionic Commando. Executive game producer Pete Wanat, who worked on Escape from Butcher Bay, will also be a part of the project.

As you can see from the attached image, Wanted will be a third-person shooter, and just like in the film, you’ll be able to curve bullets and slow down time. Additionally, the game won’t just be a retelling of the movie; it actually picks up right where the film left off.

What do you think, is this game going to stand a chance?
