Only a few more months, but could you wait longer for a PC release?

A recent Rockstar Leeds job posting, since deleted but chronicled by Rockstar Watch, put out a call for programmers to help “bring [their] latest titles to the PC platform.”

“Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible.”

Rockstar Leeds was previously known for its handheld ports of Rockstar games, as well as the development of the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars spin off series. Most recently, Rockstar Leeds developed the PC version of L.A. Noire. The latter, coupled with the recent job posting, could lend support to those hoping for a PC version of the undoubtedly sprawling Grand Theft Auto V, which just yesterday got a hefty gameplay trailer.

Rockstar has obviously shown the PC more love in recent years, including the recent, excellently done PC release of Max Payne 3. That trend seems to be continuing, with Rockstar Leeds acting as a big part of it. The job posting also said something about “working with skilled developers on Next Generation games,” which could hint at a plan for healthy PC support into the future. Or maybe PS4 and Xbox One ports of Grand Theft Auto V?

While nothing has been officially announced as to a PC release of GTAV, it wouldn’t unhead of; PC releases of Grand Theft Auto games typically come within a year of the console release. This recent job posting might hint at something sooner. How long can you wait? Or can you not wait any longer at all?
