Elbow-dropping January 18

Come January 18, Guacamelee 2 will have conquered every platform it could reasonably grapple with. It launched on PS4 and PC in August before swinging over to Switch in December. Now, it’s coming to Microsoft’s ecosystem.

Drinkbox Studios has announced that Guacamelee 2 will release on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC on January 18. It’ll be a Play Anywhere title, meaning that buying one copy grants access to both the Xbox and Windows 10 versions. Furthermore, Guacamelee 2 will support cross-saves between these two platforms.

With that, Guacamelee 2 will have launched everywhere it could feasibly launch. What’s next for Juan and the Mexiverse? We’ll have to wait to see if there’s a trilogy.
