If you’ve never been to a Video Games Live concert, then you’ve been missing a delightfully nerdy treat. Hearing the music from your games decked out with a full orchestra and lights show is an incredible experience, and I think that everyone should see it at least once.
Even if you have been to a VGL performance before, you’ll want to come to the upcoming Los Angeles performance during the E for All Expo, seeing as how the already jam-packed musical line-up has been upgraded quite a bit.
New arrangements from Contra, Chrono Cross, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Final Fantasy would be good enough to pull most fans in, but this show will be the world premiere for new pieces from Conan, BioShock, and a little game called Halo 3.
If this sounds like your thing (and I hope it does), then you’ll want to head to the Video Games Live Web page for more details on the concert set for October 19th at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. If you’re already sold, get your tickets here.
