We’ve known for a while that The Beatles: Rock Band will feature 45 of the legendary band’s songs on the game disc, but at E3, Harmonix — those dirty, dirty teases — chose to only tell us about ten of them. They’re continuing to drip-feed us information; today, they revealed 15 more tracks:
- “Twist And Shout”
- “Do You Want To Know A Secret”
- “Can’t Buy Me Love”
- “I Wanna Be Your Man”
- “Eight Days A Week”
- “Paperback Writer”
- “And Your Bird Can Sing”
- “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
- “With A Little Help From My Friends”
- “Within You Without You”/“Tomorrow Never Knows” (from 2006’s remix album, Love)
- “Yellow Submarine”
- “Revolution”
- “Birthday”
- “Dig A Pony”
- “I’ve Got A Feeling”
As a ridiculously huge Beatles fan, I’m happy to see all of those songs — but personally, I’m most excited about “Twist and Shout,” “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “Paperback Writer,” “And Your Bird Can Sing,” “Birthday,” and “I’ve Got A Feeling.” Those songs are going to be so much fun to sing with the game’s two- and three-part harmonies! You can see some of the 15 new songs in action below the fold in a brand-new trailer, as well as twenty new screenshots. Man, I just cannot wait until 09.09.09!
Be sure to check back in twenty minutes, when I’ll post impressions of my time with these 15 tracks in the game’s vocal trainer mode!
