Hearthstone, Counter-Strike: GO among most-watched games on Twitch

Right below League and Dota 2, of course

Twitch has come out with its top games for May 2014, as determined by overall number of minutes watched per title. The top two — League of Legends and Dota 2 — come as no surprise whatsoever. But Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft at number three? I guess it’s here to stay.

As a casual viewer of Twitch, I wouldn’t have necessarily expected Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to take the number-four spot, either — though Valve has given the game and its players a lot of support, a lot of reasons to continue playing, in recent months. Makes sense.

As for the rest of the list, it’s WoW, Minecraft, StarCraft II (poor old StarCraft II), Diablo III, Dark Souls II, DayZ, Call of Duty: Ghosts (heh), and the list goes on.

  1. League of Legends
  2. Dota 2
  3. Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
  4. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
  5. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria
  6. Minecraft
  7. StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm
  8. Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
  9. Dark Souls II
  10. DayZ
  11. Call of Duty: Ghosts
  12. Smite
  13. FIFA 14
  14. Watch Dogs
  15. Magic: The Gathering
  16. World of Tanks
  17. Runescape
  18. Wildstar
  19. ArcheAge
  20. ArmA III
