Or paper, if you prefer
Having played Magic: The Gathering for many years now, I’m always thinking of new decks to brew, but I have a bunch of competitive collections when I need to head into ranked play.
Here’s a few that I enjoy playing at the moment, which you can copy directly into Magic: Arena for importing. Feel free to share your own!
Rakdos Knights
Simple and popular; but effective. I love the inclusion of Drill Bit with the combination of an aggro focus to help keep things on the table, but the Oathsworn Knights and Gutterbones help with longevity as well; as they’re harder to remove. Murderous Rider is also an option for more removal and is also a knight.
Although Fires of Invention decks are kind of lording over the meta right now, there’s plenty of room to groove.

Rakdos Aristocrats
What can I say? I love putting that premium Rakdos digital sleeve to good use.
This one has a completely different feel, instead relying on the good old Aristocrat staple of sacrificing. One key interaction a lot of people miss is that the Mayhem Devil triggers for any sacrifice for any player, even Fabled Passage.
I’m partial to this deck because it uses one of our spoiler cards!

Reclamation
Reclamation decks have been a joy to use for the past few sets, but now they’re coming back in a big way because of some new toys.
For those of you who haven’t played with it before, the gist is that the key card, Wilderness Reclamation, allows you to spend out your mana on your turn, then spend out on your opponent’s turn. Now with Mystical Dispute in the mix you have some easier early counterspells, and you can cycle in Brazen Borrower for even more instant/flash disruption.
