Here are all of the 3D and 2D retro events from Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020

Plus the character list

I’ve already given my thoughts on Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020′s bizarre and lovely story mode, but to most people, the minigames are what matters. Here’s a full, official list.

For reference, every single game is unlocked from the start, both in 2D (1964) and 3D (2020) form, which is a really nice touch. All of the 3D events outside of three (Dream Racing, Dream Shooting, Dream Karate) are grounded in reality. The Dream gametypes are akin to Mario Kart, a third-person shooter, and a 3D fighting game respectively. In respect to the 3D portion: karate, skateboarding, sport climbing and surfing are new to the series.

Get a load of the list of games (and playable characters) below! Expect our full review closer to launch.
