As you may recall, Destructoid hosted a fantastic Darksiders II contest last week, courtesy of our friends at THQ. After much deliberation, we’re ready to announce the winners!
There were A TON of entries — many of them absolutely wonderful! — but sadly we could only award six of you with Darksiders swag. Hit the jump to find out who won!
The winners of the Darksiders II Collector’s Edition for Xbox 360 bundles (which includes the Xbox 360 version of the game, art book, tarot cards, novel, and more) were:
- digtastik for the awesome costume and props he made and then forced his son to model!
- Pasquale Satchell for his amazing original song, “Death’s Lament“!
Wonderful work, gentlemen!
The winners of the Darksiders II Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 3 bundles (which includes the PS3 version of the game and all the stuff listed above) were:
- SoybeanCatfish for the beautiful watercolor painting you see above!
- ZombiePlatypus for his colorful death-riding-a-rainbow-being-vomited-by-a-skeleton-horse thing!
Fantastic stuff!
Finally, our runners-up for the two Darksiders II-themed laptop bags were:
- InakoOwns for this bloody piece of work!
- Roberto Plankton for his hilarious Balloon Kid-inspired creation.
Congratulations to you all! Winners, please check your PMs for instructions!
I wish we had another hundred prizes to give out, but sadly that’s the nature of the beast. Thanks to everyone who entered their art, music, and poetry, and be sure to check out the gallery to see the rest of the submissions!
