If you’ve got fifteen minutes to spare, here’s Hironobu Sakaguchi with a detailed walkthrough of The Last Story‘s gathering system. It’s all in Japanese, of course, but there’s plenty of cool footage to gawp at as well.
The game looks ludicrously impressive, and the combat system appears to be rather fantastic. I think I might have to start my denial phase, where I simply act like The Last Story is confirmed for the West, and thus stave off the desire to weep over its Japanese exclusivity.
With that in mind, I cannot wait to play this game when it definitely comes to North America. Tomorrow. It is coming tomorrow. Probably.
