Here’s a look at the cast and art for Sdatcher

[Update: As a few people pointed out in the comments, this is most likely art for Snatcher veteran Jean Jack Gibson, and not Gideon Seed. Thanks guys!]

Sdatcher (pronounced Su-da-a-cha by some) is the recently announced (and long hinted at) radio drama written by Suda51 (No More Heroes, Shadows of the Damned) with soundtrack by Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill, Shadows of the Damned), based on the world of Snatcher created by Metal Gear Solid mastermind Hideo Kojima. The show’s cast features many of the Japanese voice actors from the Metal Gear series, including Akio Ootsuka (Solid Snake) Kikuko Inoue (The Boss, Sunny) Houchuu Ootsuka (Galvez) Yumi Kikuchi (Strange Love, Mei Ling) and Tomokazu Sugita (Miller)

That’s great for those of you who are fluent in Japanese, but what about the rest of us? For now, we can only hope that if Sdatcher is ever translated to English, that Kojima enlists David Hayter and the rest of the Metal Gear Solid English voice actors to do the job. They’re amongst some of my favorites in the industry, particularly for their ability to flip between deadly serious and knowingly ridiculous (a must for most Kojima and Suda51 projects).

We also get a look at some of the art being produced to aid in the production of the drama. Is that an older Gillian Seed I see? With psychedelic flowers on his trench coat? I’m so happy that this thing exists.
