Would you like some more Dynasty Warriors 7 screens? Of course you would, you cheeky little bastard! Never fear, because Tecmo Koei has come up with the goods, as well as a cavalcade of new character reveals.
In this batch of screens, we get to see the new models for Sun Shang Xiang, Taichi Ci, Zhang Liao, Yue Ying, Dian Wei, Yuan Shao and Zhang Jiao. We also get a brand new character, Wei strategist Jia Xu. He looks a bit like a dodgy Middle Eastern market trader and fights with a miniature scythe. Because that’s what you did in China back then.
From this new batch of remodels, I have to say that I like the new Zhang Jiao. It’s a radical redesign, I was getting pretty tired of the old look. I hope they’ve changed his voice this time, as the plummy voice they’ve been using for the past few games has started to grate. I’d rather have the screaming maniac back from Dynasty Warriors 3.
