The eagle-eyed members of NeoGAF found that the Japanese PlayStation site has version 2.5 of this software free to download. Don’t be too concerned with its Japanese origins, as after the all-Japanese installation process is complete, you’ll find that the software is in English. All you need to do is keep hitting the “N” key during installation, accept the agreement (“A” key) and the “next” your way through to the end.
For those that haven’t used this before, it’s really a pretty nifty drag-and-drop program. This version doesn’t play nice with my anime videos, but everything else works like a charm.
This kind of software should have been a system pack-in from the start.
