Hidden “HD” code for God of War 2 found Posted 13 April 2007 by Nick Chester Recommended VideosFor owners of HD capable sets, God of War 2 just got a slight graphical bump. Not that it needed it … A hidden code has been discovered that enables what GameTrailers is calling a “Hidden HD” mode. But in reality, what it seems to do is sharpen the graphics up significantly, and not really change the game’s actual resolution. I tested the code this morning and there’s a definite visual difference once activated. Press and hold L1, L2, L3, Square and Circle as you boot up the game. While it’s slightly awkward to pull off on a PlayStation 3 (you must also, at some point, turn on the controller by tapping the PlayStation button with your nose), once activated, you should notice smoother, crisper graphics. You’ll know you did the code properly when you see the “Sony Computer Entertainment Presents” screen displays purple text (which is normally is white). No, I’m not kidding. Why this code would be “hidden” to begin with is baffling, but as an owner of an HDTV, I’m happy to have it. Now go play God of War II again, because it’s prettier now, and pretty graphics are everything in games. About The Author Nick Chester More Stories by Nick Chester Filed under... #Cheats#God of War
