Hide your R4 cards: three Japanese R4 sellers busted!

Recommended Videos

It’s funny how openly people discuss their use of the R4 card and where they purchased them in gamer circles, but then again, it’s not like most people fear being busted by the police for playing a rom of Rhythm Tengoku Gold. On the other hand, Yasueda Okada was recently arrested in Osaka, along with her son, on charges that they were selling R4-type devices. A third suspect is in custody as well.

Of course, the three are denying the charges, but it looks like the crackdown continues. I wonder if R4s will become impossible to acquire over the next few years?
