Who doesn’t love men in kilts running around killing each other?
Here in Scotland we love eating deep-fried food, whiskey, having a shockingly low life expectancy, and fighting. Especially the last one. So it’s surprising to me that outside of Medieval II: Total War, there’s not been much in the way of games set in Scotland. Highland Wars looks to reverse this by setting its class-based multiplayer in the unusually sunny Scottish highlands.
Players will engage in close-quarters combat but will also have to gather resources and build defences and war machines. The game is currently on Steam’s Greenlight service so if you fancy bathing in the blood of rival clansmen, give it a vote up. Just remember to cry “FREEDOOOMM” whilst doing so to get yourself in the spirit.
