The new Lethal Company Update Version 45 adds a handful of new features and changes including an all-new Arachnophobia Mode. The new accessibility setting adds a mode that is directly aimed at those who may have a fear or phobia of spiders. If you’re wondering how does the Lethal Company Arachnophobia Mode work, here is what we’ve been able to determine by enabling it.
How to enable Arachnaphobia Mode
In order to enable Arachnophobia mode you need to open up the game and go to Settings in the menu. In the bottom right corner, you will now see an Accessibility section. Under this section is just one setting now: Arachnophobia Mode. Click the checkbox to enable the mode, then click the Confirm Changes option on the bottom left side of the screen.
You have now enabled Arachnophobia Mode. To disable it, simply go back into the settings, uncheck the checkbox, and Confirm Changes and you will turn it off.
This setting can be toggled on or off at any time, so feel free to do so as you wish.
What does Arachnophobia Mode do in Lethal Company?
Enabling the mode in Lethal Company replaces the spider model for all the eight-legged spider enemies in the game. If you’re afraid of or even not too keen on seeing the creepy crawlers even in a horror game, this is the setting for you.
Keep in mind this doesn’t completely remove the enemy from the game. Instead, it just changes the model so you no longer have to encounter actual spiders.
Instead, players with the mode enabled will now just see a big red block of text that says “SPIDER” instead of the actual visual model for the spider.
Now that you know how the Arachnophobia Mode works Lethal Company you can make the decision if you want to have it enabled or not. Just remember if you always want to return the web weavers to your game, you can easily do so.
