The latest entry in the Like a Dragon series is an interstitial one. And alongside having a bit of a different campaign than normal, Like a Dragon Gaiden also hides a goodie after you finish all its chapters.
With that in mind, people eager to play the Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth demo in Gaiden, or just eager to roll credits on a game, might wonder how many chapters Like a Dragon Gaiden has. The good news, if you’re looking to speed through, is that it’s a pretty modest amount.
Like a Dragon Gaiden is a shorter entry in the series
In total, Like a Dragon Gaiden has five chapters in all. That’s from Chapter 1, Hidden Dragon, all the way through to the final chapter. And like several other Yakuza / Like a Dragon games, it also names its final chapter after the subtitle: The Man Who Erased His Name.
It’s worth noting that, in my experience, the chapters in Like a Dragon Gaiden are a bit longer than an average one from RGG Studio. You’ll probably spend more time in each one, especially some of the meatier story chapters.
That said, there are plenty of side activities to distract you, so don’t worry about having stuff to do wherever you may be in the plot.
Don’t sweat the progression
Additionally, Like a Dragon Gaiden also has a Premium Adventure mode, which will let you freely mop up any additional activities around town after you’ve finished the story.
So if you’re concerned about missing any quests or substories, don’t fret. To our knowledge, there isn’t anything missable on the fringes of Like a Dragon Gaiden‘s chapter content.
