Endwalker brings the latest round of Relic Weapons to Final Fantasy XIV with the addition of Manderville Weapons. If you want to know how to unlock the first step or how to make further weapons once you’ve done your first, keep reading.
Before beginning your Relic journey
Before you can pick up the Relic quests, there are a few things that you need to do:
- Complete the level 90 Main Scenario quest, “Endwalker”
- Reach level 90 on one Disciple of Magic or War job
- Complete entire Hildibrand Adventures questline
- Starts with level 50 quest, “The Rise and Fall of a Gentleman”
- Ends with level 90 quest, “An Imperfect Gentleman”
The first Manderville Weapon step
As with previous FFXIV Relic Weapons, the first stage of Manderville Weapons are pretty basic. They are dyeable, though they do not glow.
The massive plus side to these weapons is their Item Level; Manderville weapons are iLevel 615, which increases with every subsequent upgrade step.
Unlocking your first Manderville Weapon
To get your hands on your first Manderville Weapon, head to Radz-at-Han and talk to the House Manderville Manservant (X11.8, Y11.2). He’ll task you with the “Make It a Manderville.”
To complete the quest, you’ll need to:
- Return to the Aetheryte Plaza in Radz-at-Han
- Speak to Jubrunnah (X12.2 Y10.9)
- Purchase (3) Manderium Meteorite
- Deliver the meteorites to Gerolt (X12.0, Y7.1) in The Crucible of Al-Kimiya
Each chunk of Meteorite costs 500 Allagan Tomestones of Causality, so you’ll need 1,500 to complete this first step. They’re easy to come by, and you get a select amount each time you run most roulettes or high level duties. When you’ve got your chunks of Meteorite, Gerolt forges your first Endwalker Relic Weapon.
Making further Manderville Weapons
To make another Manderville Weapon, speak the House Manderville Artisan (X12.0 X7.2) in Radz-at-Han’s Crucible of Al-Kimiya and pick up the repeatable quest “Make Another Manderville”.
You can make a Manderville Weapon for every battle class you have at level 90. Each weapon requires another (3) Manderium Meteorite and costs 1,500 Tomestones of Causality.
