Another major Warzone patch means another overpowered weapon, with players on Rebirth Island now torturing their enemies with an Akimbo Lockwood MK2 loadout that is reminiscent of the Model 1887s from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.
After the destruction of the Rennti Conversion Kit class finally came to an end, CoD players were hoping it would be a while before one gun was so dominant in the meta. Unfortunately, that dream was shortlived, as Season 3 Reloaded introduced the JAK Wardens Conversion Kit for the Lockwood MK2.
At the moment, this weapon is a two-shot kill against enemies, even if they are plated up. This makes it incredibly powerful at close range, and I’ve already found myself dying to it on Rebirth Island. If you want to try it for yourself, here’s how to make Warzone‘s Model 1887 Akimbo Lockwood MK2 loadout.
Best Warzone Lockwood MK2 class attachments
- Muzzle: Crown Breaker Choke
- Laser: Hipshot L20
- Optic: Luca Bandera Scope
- Conversion Kit: JAK Wardens
There are a few different Lockwood MK2 classes floating around right now, but this is the one I found to be the best. The Crown Breaker Choke Muzzle is good for improving your range, while the Hipshot L20 Laser improves hip-fire accuracy which is crucial for Akimbo weapons.
The Luca Bandera Scope gives a huge accuracy boost, while the JAK Wardens Conversion Kit is what turns the Lockwood MK2 into the Akimbo Model 1887.
How to unlock the JAK Wardens Conversion Kit in Warzone and MW3
To unlock the JAK Wardens Conversion Kit, you’ll need to complete five of the Season 3, Week 5 challenges. The good news is that these challenges are available in multiplayer, Zombies, or Battle Royale, so you have plenty of chances to get your hands on it.
Best Warzone Lockwood MK2 Perks and Equipment
- Perks:
- Perk 1: Quick Fix
- Perk 2: Double Time
- Perk 3: High Alert
- Perk 4: Fast Hands
- Lethal Grenade: Frag
- Tactical Grenade: Flash Grenade
I generally don’t sway away from these four perks, but it’s because I think they’re the best. Quick Fix is a must-have as it immediately starts health regeneration the moment you kill an enemy or use an Armor Plate, while Double Time increases your Tactical Sprint duration, which you’ll need to get close to enemies.
High Alert notifies you when an enemy player is looking at you, which is always useful, while Fast Hands makes reloading faster, which is huge when you have to put shells into two shotguns. I also like a Flash Grenade with this class, as you can use them to close space and get some kills.
