Lethal Company will have you exploring a wide universe of interesting worlds as you seek to meet your salvage quota. If you have any hope of surviving long enough to sell your scrap to The Company, you’ll need to take advantage of a number of helpful tools, such as a flashlight or walkie-talkie.
If you’re anything like me, you probably joined someone else’s ship, used a flashlight or walkie-talkie, then got confused when other ships didn’t have either. If these items are not native to every ship, how else can you get them? Let’s go over how you can buy tools in Lethal Company.
Buy tools, don’t become them
To buy tools in Lethal Company, you’ll need to use the on-board computer of your ship. If you navigate to the menu with options such as “MOONS,” “STORE,” and “BESTIARY,” select “STORE.” Here, you’ll have a list of items and tools to purchase using credits earned by selling salvage.
To buy any of these tools, you’ll need to type “BUY,” then the item’s name, followed by the quantity. So, if you wanted to buy 4 flashlights, you’d need to type into the on-board computer: “BUY FLASHLIGHT 4,” then confirm your purchase. The items you purchase will not be immediately available for use, however. In fact, you won’t be able to collect your items until approximately an in-game hour after your purchase. In my experience, my items arrived on the moon I was exploring, in a little rocket-propelled pod that, like an ice-cream truck, is hard to ignore thanks to its music being blared in every direction.
What items and tools are available?
Due to the nature of Lethal Company being relatively new and being updated regularly, this list of tools and items is ever-changing and expanding. But, here are the items and tools that can be purchased as of writing, as well as how many credits they cost.
If any items or tools are added or removed in the future, we’ll be sure to update this page as necessary.
