So many options!
At any point in the game, other than the prologue, you can change your hairstyle in Hogwarts Legacy. From an afro to some long, luscious hair, you have a lot of options to choose from.
Another neat factor of Hogwarts Legacy is that you can change to any hairstyle in Hogwarts Legacy, no matter your character’s gender. You can have bangs with a male body, or a buzzcut in a female body, and vice versa. Here’s how to change hairstyle in Hogwarts Legacy.
How to switch hairstyle in Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy gives you impressive 50 different hairstyles to choose from, but you’ll need to visit Hogsmeade to begin the process. You can change your hairstyle in Hogwarts Legacy by heading over to Madam Snelling’s Tress Emporium. This salon is up to date with the latest hairstyles in the 1800s, and as you can see from the different drawings posted on the walls, this hairdresser is in the know when it comes to fashion. The shop is located in the northern area of Hogsmeade, with Gladrags Wizardwear as its neighbor.
Talk to Madam Snelling, and you can choose from a variety of options. Press the cross button (A on Xbox) to see a preview of what the new hairstyle would look like on your protagonist. Once you’re happy, you’ll want to hold the square button (X on Xbox) to confirm your decision. It will only cost 20 Gold in the process, so if you hate the new look, you can easily change it back to what it was originally.
While you’re around Hogsmeade, you should take advantage of the other stores in the area. You can get loaded up with Wiggenweld (health) potions at J. Pippin’s store or get some Venomous Tentacula from Dogweed & Deathcap. If you’re looking to get rid of some gear, don’t destroy it; sell it for money.
How to change gear appearance
In Hogwarts Legacy, you can look odd with the gear you equip in the game. Thankfully, there’s a way to alter your appearance to what is preferable to you. When you’re in the gear menu, you’ll want to hover your cursor on the gear you want to change and press the square button (X on Xbox). From there, you can alter the outfit of your character, like putting on a suit of armor, as shown above. You’ll still keep the stat bonuses of the gear you’re wearing like in the Destiny games, and you can control how your witch or wizard looks while they’re running around the highlands by using Hogwarts Legacy‘s deep customization options.
