Week 5 of Destiny 2‘s Season 23 adds a new Catalyst for the Wish-Keeper Exotic bow. This sends Guardians back into the Black Garden to uncover celestial secrets using the new weapon. Naturally, before players can undertake this task, they must have completed the Starcrossed Exotic mission at least once.
Catalysts are unlockable and unique upgrades for Exotic weapons. Some are found randomly throughout the game, like Thorn, while others require overcoming specific challenges, like Heartshadow. As a craftable weapon, Wish-Keeper has multiple Catalyst choices available to players, like the Vexcalibur Exotic gliave.
While it’s The Dawning‘s last week, it’s worth taking a little time away to chase after the Catalyst. With multiple Catalyst options, players will likely need to make a few trips back through the Starcrossed Exotic mission. You might as well start acclimating now!
How to start Constellation: Tower
Before players can start Constellation: Tower for the first Wish-Keeper Catalyst, they must have completed Week 4’s seasonal story. The Week 4 story content introduced players to the Starcrossed Exotic mission, which rewards the Wish-Keeper Exotic bow.
Once Guardians catch up to Week 5’s content, alongside the Synchysis mission, a new quest will appear in the H.E.L.M. Visiting Mara at her throne in the Wing of the Wish starts the Constellation: Tower quest, sending players back into the Starcrossed Exotic mission.
Constellation: Tower – Celestial Anomaly
Constellation: Tower is a multi-part quest completed throughout a single run of the Starcrossed Exotic mission. The quest requires players to engage the mission on Legendary difficulty, so players can expect Champions and increased overall challenge. Guardians must bring along the Wish-Keeper Exotic bow, as specific quest objectives cannot be achieved without it.
After speaking with Mara, players can launch into the mission to complete the quest’s first step. The next phase of the quest prompts Guardians to make contact with a Celestial Anomaly in the Overland. The Overland is the first area Guardians emerge into after traversing the opening branches and flower buds.
Once in the Overland, Guardians are looking for an interaction point high atop the rocks on the right side. Visibly, the point of interest appears as a white light. Players can make it up in many ways, but the most direct is via the tree in the middle of the zone. From there, it’s one long leap over to the right side.
Constellation: Tower – Wish-Keeper
After Guardians make it to the Anomaly in the Overland, it’ll be time to pull out Wish-Keeper. The interaction may not seem to have done anything, but if players look up, they’ll see the sky looks different. Now, stars twinkle into existence and react if shot by the Wish-Keeper Exotic bow.
As players progressively shoot the stars, they’ll see them connecting to form a constellation. Once entirely tied together, Guardians will have created the shape of a Dreaming City-style tower with a massive door. With the constellation formed, players will be prompted to interact with a nearby pool of light.
The final step in completing Constellation: Tower is to continue and finish the Legendary run of Starcrossed. Players are rewarded the Enduring Snare Refit Catalyst from the chest at the end of the mission. That marks one down out of four total. If the coming Catalyst quests are anything like Constellation: Tower, players will be heading back to the Starcrossed mission soon.
