Every RPG protagonist will, at some point, go on a treasure hunt to appease a child. I don’t make the rules, I just call them like I see them. Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails follows in this proud tradition with the Bell’s Challenge quest. The titular Bell will task Nauyta with finding specific spots in a sequence to complete her challenge. Fortunately, you’ll have clues to help you find every location without too much effort.
For those who just want to clear Bell’s Challenge right away in The Legend of Nayuta, you’ll have to find four items. Look on the upper terrace of the general store, the telescope on top of Nayuta’s house, the back of Dorado guarding the center of town, and the boat by the beach where your weapon master Orbus lives. You’ll claim your reward after checking these locations in order.
For those who need a visual aid, here’s each clue and their respective locations.
From the second floor, go to where you can see everybody’s head.
You may have walked by the General Store a few times and wondered why there’s a weird bridge sticking out of it. This is the upper terrace of the shop, and where you’ll find your first clue. Investigate the exclamation point on the right side of the bridge.
The peephole to the sky
I don’t know how Bell got into Nayuta’s house, but that’s where you need to go for this clue. Climb to the roof and up the ladder. Next, investigate the telescope to find your next clue.
The nite’s back
As Nayuta guesses, Bell doesn’t know how to spell “knight.” By process of elimination, you can figure out that Bell must have messed with Dorado here. Look at his back and you’ll find your final clue for Bell’s Challenge.
Under the leave-taking transport
This is the clue most likely to trip players up before they complete Bell’s Challenge. The “leave-taking transport” clearly refers to a boat, so you must look for a body of water. However, given that there’s a few spots in town that fits that description, you might wonder what Bell is trying to point you towards. Fortunately, you won’t have to search far. Simply go to the far-left side of town out where Orbus lives, and look at the boat on the shore. You’ll find your treasure here.
The reward for all your hard work here is a Chewy Bone. That certainly won’t boost Nayuta’s attack power, but if you’ve gotten a dog house for the pup by the beach, it’ll make a nice treat for your canine companion. And really, what better reward could you ask for than that?
